I love the flooring and this is probably much worse than it appears.

Bargain down to $600-$750 and sell the wooden floor and wheels. Then you’ll get your money back and you can have a parts car for free.

stupidly he refuses to include the wheels for the price

I’m agreeing with everybody on this, yo

I agree with Golem. You’re down to roughly $400 of valuable car IMO. Scrap value is at least $250.

Talk the seller down and now you have a super reliable 4-cylinder engine for less than $1000.

No buckling visible in the quarter, hit high so there is unlikely to be much/any damage to the floor.
From a structural standpoint it isn’t terrible. A good bodyshop would want to put a new rear panel on that, which involves drilling out the spotwelds and welding a new one it. However if you’d hacking it you could bash that one back into shape, if it is aligned properly the damage would be invisible once the inner & outer trim panels are back on.
Off the cuff I’d say that is $2000-3000 in damages, but that would depend on pricing for parts.

Thanks for the detailed input!

That is a nice $500 NASA TTF car there after some exercising your sledge and body hammers. Otherwise no.

Or an EG Civic. I would raid that car for so many parts.

Buy it for 500$ or sell enough parts off of it to make back 500$+. Why?
BECAUSE LEMONS RACE CAR.

Looks like it was pushed in much further and they already pulled it out as far as they could and then realised that there isn’t much else to do.

Big nope from me. Unless you have a lot of skills and more money than the car is worth.

do you know the weld?

If you just wanted it to LOOK right, and not worry about it crumpling like a tin can all the way into the back seat in the next rear collision, you could probably make it work for cheap. Beat it out a little more, stick on a new trunk lid and plastic parts. The panels wouldn’t fit quite right, but you could do it.
Properly repairing it though, would cost more than the finished product would ever be worth.

Well if you have a bit if you have a bit of land, or a local RallyX group, you could do what I do with my rear ended Honda. Rally that shit.
